In this guide, you will learn how badges work, what ranks you can achieve, the privileges unlocked at higher levels, and how to view your own profile rank directly from the comment section.

Badge Discussion

How To Participate?

To participate in the Blogger comment system using your browser such as Chrome, Safari, or any other browser, you must be logged in to your Google account. This is required for your profile, badges, and comment rank to be properly displayed and tracked on the site.

If you choose to comment as Anonymous or using Name/URL instead of your Google account, your profile information, badge progress, and rank system will not appear.

How To Participate
NOTE: Badges and ranks cannot be transferred between accounts. For this reason, we strongly recommend choosing one Google account that you plan to use consistently before participating in the comment section.

What Are Badges?

Badges are special identifiers awarded to users based on their activity and contributions on the site. They recognize participation such as posting comments, contributing content, supporting the site, or holding a specific role within the community.

Some badges are permanent, such as the Admin badge, which is assigned to site administrators and cannot be removed. Other badges are dynamic and may be earned or lost depending on your current activity or status, such as Author, Top Commenter, and Supporter.

For example, if you are no longer contributing as a guest author or you want to quit, your Author badge will be updated to Former Author. Likewise, the Supporter badge will automatically expire after 30 days unless renewed.

What Badges Can I Earn?

Below is the complete list of available badges on the site. We are continuously working on adding new badges and improving the ranking system.

  • Admin: The site owner and administrator responsible for managing the website and community.
  • Author: Our guest authors and dedicated contributors who help create and publish content for the site.
  • Supporter: Users who support the site through donations.
  • Keyboard Warrior (Top Commenter): Users who reach 100 points earn this special badge as recognition for their active participation in the community.
    • At the bottom of each post, you see the names of users who actively commented on that post. Each comment is equivalent to 2 points.

In addition to special role badges, users can also earn ranking badges based on their total number of approved comments posted on the site. Each rank represents your level of community participation and engagement.

You can view your current rank, badge progress, and profile information by clicking your avatar in the comment section. This will open your profile details where your earned badges and comment rank will be displayed.
